Rawalpindi:A 30-year-old woman was killed by some unknown motorcyclists on Noora Road near Jinnah Camp Shakriyal here on Tuesday.
The Rescue 1122 along with some police officials shifted the body to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for post-mortem. The Sadiqabad Police Station has registered a case against unknown persons.
According to some eyewitnesses, two masked motorcyclists opened fire on the woman killing her on the. After killing the woman, the motorcyclists created fear and panic among people by resorting to aerial firing. They fled from the scene after killing the woman, the eyewitnesses said.
The Rescue 1122 Official Spokesman Muhammad Farooq Butt told ‘The News’ that name and address of unfortunate woman was yet not confirmed. We could not find out ID card or any other identity, he said.
