Rawalpindi: The Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) has despatched first consignment of relief goods and ambulances to help out displaced people of nearby areas of the Line of Control (LoC). The relief goods include tents, blankets, warm clothing and other items.
According to AKFP, a large number of population living close to LoC in Kotli, Hattian Bala, Nakial sector Khoi Ratta and other areas had migrated to other place due to consistent shelling of the Indian forces in violation of the LoC ceasefire. They have been forced to spend nights of the cold season in the open sky.
The AKFP senior vice president Ehsanulllah Waqas, secretary general Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Mangat and volunteers of the foundation were also present on the occasion.
