Saddar school caught stealing electricity; arrests made

A school in Saddar area was found involved in electricity theft by a raiding team of the power utility on Monday. Arrests were made and further investigation was under way.
Moreover, raiding teams removed over 6,000 illegal connections in North Nazimabad, Landhi, Shah Faisal, Gulshan, FB Area, Surjani, Gadap, Korangi, Baldia, Lyari, Clifton, Garden, Saddar, DHA and other areas.
Also in Saddar, a generator shop was caught stealing electricity, while a few FIRs were lodged which included one against a flour mill owner and a tea shop in Gadap. A plastic bags manufacturer was also found using heavy load of electricity illegally.
In Surjani two people were taken into FIA custody for running their stitching units on stolen electricity.
