FPCCI, HKSCA sign deal
KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Houston Karachi Sister City Association (HKSCA) at the Federation House, with a view to establish long-term, sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation for promoting bilateral trade, strengthening relationship of business fraternity and creation of cultural harmony between Karachi and Houston, a statement said on Saturday.
FPCCI President Daroo Khan Achakzai and Muhammad Saeed Sheikh, president of HKSCA sign the agreement, it added. Under the MoU, both the organisations agreed to promote joint ventures, initiate partnership, provide technical expertise, exchange of delegations and information, arrangements of seminars, conferences, etc.
Achakzai said that the collaboration with HKSCA will create long-term relations between the people of Karachi and Houston for the promotion of trade, education, cultural relations and research activities.
