Sarhadi named PR Advisory Board member, deputy convener
PESHAWAR: Senior businessman Ziaul Haq Sarhadi has been named a member of the Pakistan Railways Advisory Board and Deputy Convener of the Pakistan Railways Central Standing Committee of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
He is president of the Frontier Customs Agents Group Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Vice-Chairman of the All Pakistan Customs Agents Association.
Sarhadi has been associated with the Customs clearing, forwarding and Afghan trade for the last 40 years. He is chairman of the Railways and Dry port Standing Committee of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).
Sarhadi has served against several important positions in the trade bodies such as chairman of the All Pakistan Commercial Exporters, Gems and Gemological Institute of Pakistan, senior vice-president of SCCI and that of the Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
He thanked the FPCCI President Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai for expressing confidence in him by giving him the responsibilities and vowed to come up to serve the community in all possible manners.
