17 illegal shops, warehouses demolished

The anti-encroachment team of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) demolished 17 illegal shops and warehouses in the Liaquatabad Supermarket area on Wednesday. Mayor Wasim Akhtar took notice of all encroachments in the Liaquatabad Supermarket and had ordered to restore the market to its original shape. The operation was also carried out in Akhtar Colony, Kashmir Colony, Raja Ghazanfar Ali Road and Bohri Bazar, and all cabins, illegal structures, stalls were demolished.
