LNG terminal case: NAB quizzes former PM Shahid Khaqan
ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appeared before the combined investigation team (CIT) of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi in LNG terminal case and replied over 70 questions.
The CIT headed by the relevant director asked over 70 questions to the former prime minister, who also served as minister for petroleum and natural resources. The Bureau handed over the questionnaire to Shahid Khaqan and asked him to answer these questions by February 28.
The inquiry is directly supervised by the NAB Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal.
After appearance before the NAB’s CIT, Shahid Khaqan said he had replied to all the questions. To a question, whether the NAB gave him a clean chit, the former PM replied in the negative and said he replied to all questions which were asked.
