Schools, offices to reopen today
Islamabad: The educational institutions in Islamabad will reopen today (Tuesday) after the departure of Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Also, the government offices located in Red Zone will resume work after three days break as the government had declared the first day after weekend a holiday for their employees as part of the security plan for the visit of the Saudi crown prince and to prevent inconvenience to the residents.
The offices of essential services, including MCI, CDA, ICT administration, Police, IESCO, SNGPL, and hospitals, continued to function.
The Saudi crown prince left the country on Monday afternoon after completing a two-day state visit.
Also, the metro bus service will resume operation after remaining closed on Sunday and Monday for security reasons.
