Railway track from Peshawar to Mardan inspected

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Railways officials inspected the track and stations from Peshawar to Mardan. The inspection was done to check the arrangement for running the safari train from Peshawar to Mardan. Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed had directed starting safari service from Peshawar to Mardan during his visit to the provincial capital.
Speaking on the occasion, divisional superintendent Nasir Khalili said that the service would give an opportunity to the tourists to see the historical sites in the area. He hoped national and international tourists would benefit from the service. The divisional superintendent said encroachment from the track and stations would be removed to ensure the launching of safari service.
