JUI-F Karak councillors bury the hatchet
KARAK: On the intervention of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, differences among the tehsil councillors of his party came to an end here on Saturday.
The reconciliation committee comprising MPA Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel and former tehsil nazim Abdur Rehman Khattak met the councillors of the tehsil and heard their grievances.
The lawmaker informed the councillors that the district council and the tehsil council funds had been banned for the last three years and basic problems of people increased manifold during the period.
He demanded the deputy commissioner Karak to release the developmental funds of the district and tehsil councils.
On the occasion, Abdul Wahab resolved to take along all the tehsil councillors and said that equal funds would be given to all tehsil councillors to start a new journey of development in the district.
He asked the government to release the development funds of Karak tehsil as early as possible.
