Shujaat, Pervaiz deny owning Paris property
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi have denied having any property in Paris.
In a statement issued here Friday, the PML-Q leaders said that a news had been carried in print as well as electronic media that record of property of Chaudhry Brothers in Paris had been found. They said that to prove the news correct they have offered the NAB chairman that he should himself visit Paris along with his three-member team and investigate the matter. They said, “We will provide them first class air ticket whereas their accommodation and transport will be arranged by the people of Gujrat residing in Paris.”
They said, “65 percent overseas Pakistanis hailed from Gujrat. We will ask them to take the NAB chairman and his team around Paris to conduct survey and he should only pinpoint this property.”
