E-RTI system put in place
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Commission (KPIC) in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Information Technology has put in place the E-RTI system to facilitate the citizens in getting information from public bodies of the Peshawar district through e-mail.
According to a press release, following a note moved by the Chief Information Commissioner (CIC), KPIC, the chief secretary issued directives to the heads of public bodies of Peshawar district to respond to the information requests placed through E-RTI web portal.Likewise details of the pending E-RTI requests with the Public Information Officers (PIOs) of the public bodies were also communicated by the KPIC to the respective administrative secretaries.The details, including lists of PIOs, user name, user guide and video tutorial links were also sent to the concerned public bodies for their queries.In addition to this, training manual and a video tutorial of the web portal was recently developed by the IT Board which has been duly uploaded on the Commission’s official website.
