Several injured as PTI, PPP supporters clash in Takht Bhai

TAKHT BHAI: Several activists and cops sustained injuries as Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) supporters clashed here on Thursday.
Locals said that the PTI workers, on their return from a rally, reportedly started smashing the banners and placards of a PPP candidate for the local government election in Takh Bhai.The PPP activists tried to stop the PTI workers that resulted in a physical clash between the two parties. The Malakand road turned into a virtual battlefield as the activists of PTI and PPP attacked each another with fists, sticks and stones, creating a severe traffic jam. The cops intervened to control the situation but the charged activists of the PTI started pelting stones at them as well. Several PPP workers as wells cops sustained injuries.
