Rupee up

The rupee on Wednesday recovered its losses against the dollar, as the spell of volatility disappeared from the market, dealers said.
In the interbank market, the rupee ended 101.98 against the dollar, up two paisas from the previous closing of 102.
Dealers said the forex market has started recovering from volatility caused by 100 basis points cut in interest rate last week. “The rupee-dollar parity is likely to stable in coming sessions in the possible absence of local and global triggers in the market,” said a dealer.
