KARACHI: Karachi City Sports Association (KCSA) will organise the 3rd Karachi Games at various venues in Karachi from June 14-16.
A meeting of the core committee of KCSA was held at local club in which the dates of the games were approved. There would be 20 male and 10 female disciplines in this mega event, while two special events of cricket, athletics and Malakhra (traditional game) would also be included in the games on the recommendations of secretary sports Laiq Ahmed.
A high profile workshop will also be part of this grand activity. KCSA has the distinction of holding first ever Karachi Beach Games, many inter-school events, inter-collegiate championships, unified special athletes games, sports administration workshops and Karachi Games 2013 which had the highest number of disciplines (51) ever in any sports event.
Secretary KCSA Muhammad Khalid Rehmani will be coordinator of the games, while Muhammad Taqi will be the organising secretary.
