Scary bug

The people of Karachi who have been facing acute shortage of water are now confronted with another challenge – the waterborne disease Naegleria. So far Naegleria took four lives in Karachi this year. Last year at least 10 cases were detected from different parts of the city.
The government has mounted efforts to provide chlorinated water to Karachi since the death rate has incensed Karachiites about the quality of water they are drinking The government should remain alert in areas where Naegleria was surfaced earlier.
