KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sindh has filed a reference with the court against the revenue officials and a police officer for selling out part of a plot of a police station.
According to the reference, a copy of which is available with The News, reference 06/2015 was filed against the Sindh Police Inspector Ihsan Buledi, Mukhtiarkar Ghulam Abbas Sadhayo, Assistant Mukhtiarkar Abdul Hameed Kato and tapidars Ghulam Asghar Sarki and Ghulam Yaseen Mahar for tampering with the record of revenue department in connivance with each other and selling out a plot of Police Station Thal, Jacobabad to two private persons Ghulam Haider Khoso and Saleem Khoso.
The NAB Sindh spokesperson Qudsia Kadri confirmed the development and told The News that after investigation a reference was filed with the NAB court. Inspector Ihsan Buledi is also the main accused in the theft of a 20 kilometer railway track. Central Police Office sources told The News that Ihsan Buledi is nowadays working as inspector in the traffic police department. According to the NAB documents, the police station had a four-acre plot in Thal area of Jacobabad district.
Mukhtiarkar Ghulam Abbas Sadayo and others with the collaboration of Inspector Buledi sold out a part of the police station plot to Saleem Khoso and Ghulam Haider Khoso causing millions of rupees loss to the national exchequer.After getting the possession of land, Saleem and Ghulam Haider Khoso constructed 32 shops there.
