18 suspects rounded up in Hangu search operation

HANGU: The police Tuesday arrested 18 suspected persons, including four proclaimed offenders, during a search and strike operation in various parts of the district. The police launched a search and strike operation against the anti-social elements in Shahokhel, Shahowam and Lodhikhel areas and made the arrests.
The arrested persons included four proclaimed offenders. The police also recovered a rifle, two pistols and hundreds of cartridges from them.Workshop: A training workshop for the candidates in the local government election was held here Tuesday.
The district administration had organised the workshop to brief the candidates contesting the local government polls about the code of conduct for the elections. Deputy Commissioner
