Funeral prayers in absentia held for Swabi pilo

SWABI: The funeral prayer in absentia for pilot Major Muhammad Faisal Waseem who was killed in the helicopter crash in Naltar valley in Gilgit-Baltistan was offered here on Saturday. His body has not reached his hometown Chota Lahor. The leaders of various political parties and local people attended the funeral prayer. His family members said the body had been kept at the Combined Military Hospital in Rawalpindi for some tests and it would soon be dispatched to Chota Lahor for burial. A large number of people waited for the arrival of the body for several hours, but they were told that the arrival of the body had been delayed due to medical tests.
