HEC grants NOC to Sialkot women varsity

SIALKOT: The Government College for Women University, Sialkot, has been granted an NOC by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Farhat Saleemi announced this addressing the first meeting of the Academic Council of the university.
Dr Ras Masood, Dr Saifullah Cheema, Prof Dr Rehana Sharif, Prof Shaista, Ghulam Sarwar Sipra and others were also present in the meeting.
The VC termed the issuance of the NOC a real milestone in the education history of Sialkot as the varsity has been recognised as the first degree awarding varsity.
