ISLAMABAD: Hashoo Group Chairman Sadruddin Hashwani said that he met Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif a year back and on PM’s advice, he announced to start mega projects of building PC Hotels at Mirpur (AJK), Multan and Hayatabad, Peshawar.
“But hurdles are being created in his way to possess land for the construction of five-star hotel and develop Bhutto Park in Mirpur as just a day before Mirpur commissioner stopped the construction of the hotel,” he said in a statement.
Mr Hashwani said he was the only investor who was offered by nine countries for making the investment but he had made all of his investments in Pakistan because of his love and dedication to the motherland.
He said he had been in exile for the last five years and seven life attempts were made on him during this time. “Pakistan is my homeland and it is my resolve that I will do everything for my beloved country and for the prosperity of the people of Pakistan.
My whole life and services are dedicated to my beloved homeland, Pakistan,” he added. He made it clear that he was not blackmailed and no one had courage to blackmail him. “I have fulfilled the promise with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to make investment in Pakistan and if I was not allowed to work in my way, it will be a matter of thought for the prime minister,” he added.
