School for police kids to be set up

DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has said a police public school will soon be built for employees’ children where they will get free education.
Addressing a meeting of Flying Squad Force at Police Lines Qila, Gujar Singh on Wednesday, the DIG said a hospital would also be constructed where police employees would get free medical facilities. Police counter in each hospital of the city would also be established to facilitate the police employees, he added.
He said special barracks would be built for employees and double shift would be started where employees were working in one shift and would avail weekly holiday. He ordered installing water-coolers at the police mess.
He said a commission had been established to make recommendations with regard to solving problems faced by the members of Flying Squad Force.
TRANSFERRED: The IG issued transfer and posting order of a police officer. Headquarters Traffic SP Shujaat Ali Rana has been transferred and posted as SP Investigation, Hafizabad, against an existing vacancy with an immediate effect.
