Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri said the visit of President Xi Jinping was of great importance for boosting Pakistan-China relations adding that Beijing had been a trusted and all weather friend of Islamabad.
Addressing the Executive Council of the PAT via video link, Dr. Tahirul Qadri said the incredible development China had gained in a very short span of time has left the world flabbergasted which was due to the strong-willed, trustworthy, and patriotic people of China. No doubt the friendship between the two countries is taller than the Himalayas and sweeter than honey.
Dr. Tahirul Qadri said the agreements reached as a result of the visit of the Chinese dignitary needed a commission to ensure the transparency and early completion of all the projects.
He said special technical committees should be formed and army personnel should also be included in these committees that would oversee the implementation of these projects.
