The K-Electric on Tuesday assured the Election Commission of Pakistan that the entire NA-246 constituency would be exempted from the daily loadshedding schedule on the day of the much-hyped by-poll on April 23.
In a letter to ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, the KE’s chief of staff, Usama Qureshi, said all relevant details on the feeders supplying the area had been gathered and all feeders would be exempt from load shedding from midnight on April 22 till the morning of April 24. He also informed the ECP official of plans to deploy special teams that would remain on standby throughout the day.
