Mother of two children was strangled by her husband on suspicion in Lytton Road area on Sunday.
Kashif Imran, a rickshaw driver of Bagh Gull Begum, suspected that his wife Anam, had relations with a man and often questioned her about her alleged relations. On the day of the incident, he strangled her following a quarrel over the issue and surrendered to the police and confessed to his crime.
BODY FOUND: A 35-year-old man was found dead in Kot Lakhpat area. Some locals spotted the body lying near Chungi Amarsadhu and informed the police.
The body bore no marks of bruises, police said, adding the actual cause of the death would be established after autopsy.
DRUG PEDDLER: Gulberg police arrested a drug pusher and recovered three-kg charas from him.
The drug peddler was identified as Iftikhar alias Bhola. The police claimed that cases against Bhola had already been registered in various police stations.
