Govt land to be retrieved from encroachers: DCO

BHAKKAR: DCO Muhammad Zaman Wattoo Thursday said the provincial government land would be retrieved from encroachers through an operation shortly.
Presiding a meeting of patwaris of Mankera tehsil and revenue officers, the DCO directed patwaris to recover wheat at the rate of Rs 8,000 per acre and grams at the rate of Rs 3,500 per acre from encroachers.
He warned a strict action against staff violating the directive.
The DCO also imposed section 144 in the district banning entry of unauthorized people in the examination centre of BA/BSc.
