DASKA: Thieves Thursday lifted the motorcycle of the reader of a magistrate in the city area.
Mansoor Ahmed parked his motorcycle outside the court, and when he came back he found it missing
CASE FOR PROTECTING POS: Police Thursday registered a case against two people for allegedly extending protection to two proclaimed offenders (POs).
Following a tip-off, the police raided houses of Muhammad Iqbal and Zafar Iqbal to arrest POs Sadaf and Rasheed, but they fled before the arrival of the police.
DRUG PEDDLERS HELD: Police Thursday arrested three drug peddlers and recovered narcotics from their possession.
During the checking police intercepted two different vehicles and arrested Yusuf, Shamas and Mohmood and recovered 13 bottles liquor and 450 gram charas from them.
