The participants of the meeting discussed in details measures to ensure a smooth and impartial election in Mansehra and Torghar districts.
As the polling stations set up along the Indus River had no roads to access, the participants of the meeting said, it would be better if the Election Commission of Pakistan arranges helicopter for the prompt and the safest possible delivery of the ballot papers there.
Meanwhile, District Police Officer Rasheed Khan visited polling stations in the far-off Battakundai area in the Kaghan valley.
He was accompanied by a police party and reviewed the arrangements in the light foolproof security measures there.
