PTI candidates get support in NA-141
OKARA: PTI candidate for NA-141, Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bokhari and his provincial wing candidates Rai Hammad Aslam for PP-183 and Mahr Javed Sial for PP-184 Tuesday bagged the support of Ch Fazal Ahmed group at Chak 18/GD. On Monday evening, Ch Fazal group organised a function in the village which was also attended by PTI district general secretary Fahim Javed, councillors and political groups. Chaudhry pledged his support and struggle for the success of PTI candidates. PTI district general secretary M Faheem said time for the big change had arrived in the country. People should elect honest rulers who can bring the country to the path of progress. Samsam thanked Chaudhry Fazal and his group for giving his support to the PTI.
Two PTI groups clash: Activists of two PTI groups quarreled with each other in a party election camp on MA Jinnah Road over an issue of playing party songs. The workers of both groups used kicks and fists and manhandled each other. In the meantime, police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. Later, the PTI leadership intervened into the matter.
