LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif has urged the people of Bhalwal to reach Lahore in large numbers on July 13 and welcome party Quaid Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing a gathering during his election campaign in Bhalwal, he said in the country where cases are not heard for decades, the court did not consider precarious health condition of Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kulsoom Nawaz, and rejected his plea for a delay.
He expressed his love for the locals and said they had won him and Nawaz over by turning up in such massive numbers at the rally. "Your Quaid, your leader, the guardian of your rights, the son of the soil Nawaz is returning to you on Friday. “He is not returning for his own self, he is returning for you, to empower you, the civilians, to restore the respect of your vote. “Leave no stone unturned to honour him and welcome him with your massive presence. We have to show with a presence that how strongly we reject the controversial decision against him,” added Shahbaz.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League-N fulfilled all its promises made with the people. It brought peace to the country, steered the country out of darkness and added more electricity than all of the governments combined in the past 60 years, to the national grid, and stood for the rights of people.
On the contrary, Imran Khan is a living definition of lies and deceit, who had wasted the country’s time and resources for the past five years in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. He had pledged to generate enough electricity to even export. “Where is that electricity? Where are all those projects?”
Shahbaz promised that if the people would vote the PML-N to power again, Bhalwal would be given the status of a district and a Technical University would be set up there.
