2 boys drown in canals

SARGODHA: Two boys drowned in canals in Sahiwal and Phularwan police limits on Monday.

Rescue-1122 sources said Faisal Pathan, 9, of Chohan Colony along with his brothers Farooq and Ibrahim were taking bath in canal near Sultanpur Bangla when he went into deep water and drowned. Meanwhile, Tajammal Hussain, 16, of Phularwan drowned in a canal when he was taking bath.

Man dies in road accident: A man died in a road accident in Jhal Chakian police station area on Sunday.

Muhammad Siddique, 26, of village Nehang, was travelling on a motorcycle on Sargodha-Jhang Road when a tractor-trolley hit him near Chak 92 Morr and injured him critically. He was shifted to the DHQ Hospital where he died.
