Farmer’s eye gouged out

PAKPATTAN: Four accused gouged out one eye, cut tongue and nose of a farmer over an old enmity at Chak Salamat on Monday. Accused Ghaffar and his accomplices gouged out an eye, chop tongue and nose of farmer Muhammad Rafiq. The Rescue-1122 rushed Rafique to the DHQ Hospital. Police have arrested three accused.

FOUR KIDS FALL ILL AFTER EATING TOXIC FOOD: Four children of a same family fell ill after eating toxic food here. The children of Chak Tibba Sherkot ate toxic food on Eid day and fell ill. The Rescue-1122 rushed them to DHQ Hospital, Pakpattan.

PRAY FOR KULSOOM: A large number of PML-N workers visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Fareeduddin Masood Ganj Shakar and prayed for early recovery of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

MAN DIES IN CLASH: A man died in clash between two groups gypsies at Chak Freed Shah. Rajju died when a bullet hit him. Ameen Bibi also suffered injuries in the clash.
