TIMERGARA: Passing out parade of 100 cops of Special Police Force and Dir Levies was held at the conclusion of three-week long special training under the aegis of Pakistan Army at Dir Scouts ground in Balambat on Monday.
Commandant Dir Scouts Colonel Nasar Umar Hayat Laleka was the chief guest on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir Sohail Khan, District Police Officer Qasim Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner Hikmatullah Wazir, ANP senior vice president Zahir Shah Khan and a large number of local elders were also present on the occasion. Special Police Force and Levies officials demonstrated unarmed combat, establishing checkpost, VIPs protection, weapons handling, room clearance, fire and move technique and firing from different positions and received admiration from those present.
Chief guest Col Nasar Umar Hayat Laleka gave away trophies to the cops who performed well during the training. Laleka said that aim of the training was to improve the skills of law enforcers.
