Woman injured by two persons

DASKA: Two people injured a woman in the City police limits on Saturday. Azhar along with his accomplice entered the house of Mubarik Ali and allegedly beat his sister with sticks. As a result, she was injured. The police are investigating.

THIEVES HIT TWICE: Thieves took away two motorcycles in separate incidents here on Saturday.

Thieves stole the motorcycle of Adnan, a resident of Lorri Adda, from outside a mosque. In another incident, thieves stole the motorcycle-rickshaw of Gul Nawaz in the limits of Bombanwala police station.

FRAUDSTER BOOKED: Sadr police booked a man for fraud here on Saturday. Mushtaq Ahmad had given Rs 300,000 loan to Habib sometime ago. When he demanded his money back, Habib allegedly gave him a fake cheque.
