Beyond allegations

Our history is replete with endless allegations about attempts to tamper with the democratic process. Unfortunately, such accusations mostly surface at a time when somebody is being questioned about other issues. Regrettably, such allegations are generally used to divert attention from a specific problem. With time, these allegations and grievances are put on backburner.

All the relevant stakeholders must adopt a serious and mature attitude in these matters. They must have the courage to pursue such accusations to their logical conclusion in order to take corrective measures for the future.
