THE FIA Punjab on Monday claimed to have arrested nine Proclaimed Offenders (POs) involved in different cases including human smuggling and trafficking from various places of the province.
According to FIA sources, among the total arrests, the FIA Anti Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) Lahore arrested five POs including Syed Aftab Hussain Bukhari in FIR No 94/2015, Muhammad Saeed Azhar in FIR No 665/2013, Muhammad Hanif in FIR No 369/2011, Shabbir Ahmed in FIR No 263/2014, and Javed Iqbal in FIR No 172/2008.
Similarly, the FIA Gujranwala arrested three POs including Zawar M Afzal in FIR No 190/2014, Munir in FIR No 233/2013 and Abdul Jabbar in FIR No 233/2013. One PO named Muhammad Imran Shazi in FIR No 197/2012 has been arrested by FIA Multan. Further investigations are underway.
