ATC hands down 28-year jail to terrorist
SARGODHA: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Tariq Mehmood Zargham Thursday handed down a 28-year rigorous imprisonment to an accused involved in terrorist activities. According to the prosecution, accused Muhammad Sarwar was arrested by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Faisalabad from Dherema, Sargodha on November 23, 2017 and a hand grenade and explosive material was recovered from his possession.
Drug peddler jailed: AD&SJ Javed Iqbal Ranjha Thursday awarded a four-year imprisonment to an accused involved in narcotics case. According to the prosecution, Shahpur police had arrested Ghulam Hussain from Shahpur Saddar area with 1.17kg Hashish.
Two held: Police Thursday arrested two drug pushers. Jhal Chakian police intercepted two vehicles at Outian checkpost and Ludewala bypass and recovered 3.2 kg hashish from the vehicles. The police arrested Abdul Hameed of Zafar Colony and Farooq of Sher Pao Chowk Sargodha.
