HEC to release Rs11m for PU centre

LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) and federal Higher Education Commission (HEC) have signed an agreement under which the HEC will release Rs 11.15 million to PU for the imrovment of newly-established Business Incubation Centre at Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasira Jabeen, IBA Director Sajida Nisar and other officials attended the ceremony. The purpose of the grant is to accelerate the successful development of start-up and fledgling companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. It will also support linkages between academia and R&D institutions and the private sector and provide entrepreneurs with well-equipped infrastructure.
