PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority inspected three slaughterhouses here early Monday.
According to a press release, a team comprising Assistant Director Asad Ali and food safety officers visited privately owned three slaughterhouses in different areas of Peshawar.
The assistant director showed concern at absence of veterinary doctors at slaughterhouses.
Three bakery shops situated on the Kohat Road were sealed over non-compliance with food safety standards.
