TOBA TEK SINGH: Jamil, father of army man M Bilal, who was martyred a week ago, died after a brief illness at Chak 320/GB near Pirmahal on Saturday night. His only son Bilal was martyred in a terrorists attack at a check-post in Mohmand Agency near Pak-Afghan border. Locals informed that since the martyrdom of his son, he was in severe shock. A large number of citizens attended the funeral prayer of M Jamil on Sunday. Later, he was buried in a local graveyard.
Villager shot dead over property dispute: A villager was shot dead over a property dispute at Chak 351/JB, Gojra, on Sunday. Muhammad Shafiq was on his way home from his farmland on his tractor when his rivals Amir, Aslam, Farooq and Ilyas allegedly opened fire at him. As a result, he was seriously wounded. He was being shifted to the THQ Hospital Gojra but he succumbed to his injuries. Police are conducting raids to arrest the accused persons.
