Islamabad : Chief Commissioner, Islamabad Capital City (ICT) Aftab Akbar Durrani Sunday inaugurated the Computer Literacy Centre (CLC) at Bhara Kahu.
The project is aimed at promoting the use of computer and imparting the basic computer skills among locals.
Addressing the gathering, he termed it a learning opportunity for youth and said the computer literacy and skills would also ensure sources of income for the people of the area, said a press release here.
During the visit, he also visited Bhara Kahu Revenue Center and listened to the complaints of the public.
The Chief Commissioner directed the officials to promptly resolve problems of the people.
He said that he would not tolerate the negligence on the part of revenue officials and strict action would be taken against those responsible for negligence.
Later on, the Chief Commissioner paid a visit to Rural Health Center Bhara Kahu and expressed annoyance over un-cleanliness.
He also checked the availability of medicines at the Centre and attendance register of the officials.
