14 prisoners freed in Landikotal

LANDIKOTAL: The officials of the political administration on Thursday visited the Landikotal lock-up and issued release orders of 14 prisoners.

Assistant Political Agent, Landikotal, Niaz Muhammad accompanied by tehsildar Shamsul Islam paid surprise visit to Landikotal jail situated inside the official compound.

Niaz Muhammad directed the officials responsible to ensure the best quality of foods and living facilities to the inmates. He heard several cases inside the jail and released 14 prisoners on the spot. “We heard the cases and those arrested on petty charges were set free,” said Niaz Muhammad.
