CHITRAL: The leaders of various political parties highlighted the manifestos of own parties at a one-day seminar here on Thursday.
Titled “political parties’ manifesto for Election 2018”, the seminar was held at the Chitral University.
District leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, All Pakistan Muslim League, Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also addressed on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, PPP leader Alamzeb Advocate said that his party had given the 1973 Constitution to the country. He said that the PPP had always followed its manifesto for provision of basic facilities to the people.
Alamzeb said that Lowari Tunnel project, education opportunities and health centers in Chitral were started by PPP governments.
PTI leader Abdul Latif has said that quality education was main point of his party manifesto, adding that Chitral University was the outcome of his leaders focus on education.
APML leader Sultan Wazir said that peace could not be restored in the country till complete elimination of terrorism networks.
District nazim Maghfirat Shah said that social economic development programme could pave the way for the development in Chitral.
