BARA: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) facility and post office were inaugurated in the Bara tehsil of the Khyber Agency on Wednesday.
Speaking at a ceremony after inaugurating the offices, Political Agent Khyber Agency Islam Zaib said that several offices of the government had been destroyed by militants in the Bara tehsil.
He said the tribal people had rendered matchless sacrifices against the militants in the tribal belt.
The militants had destroyed their houses, guest-houses and business markets in the decade long militancy, he added.
“We know all issues facing the tribal people which will be completed gradually,” PA said, adding, that the government would continue efforts to solve the problems of the traders and shopkeepers of the Bara.
He said the political administration was focusing on improvement of education and health sector in Khyber Agency. Besides, Bara Assistant Political Agent Asmatullah Wazir, Malik Waris Khan Afridi, Malik Haleem Gul Afridi, Malik Muhammad Amin, Muhammad Ali and others were also present on the occasion.
