LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab leader Ejaz Chaudhry Tuesday submitted an application with Liaqatabad Police Station for registration of a treason case against Nawaz Sharif over his alleged anti-Pakistan statement. Ejaz Chaudhry was accompanied by Shabbir Sial, another PTI Lahore activist when they visited the police station. He told the media outside the police station that applications for registration of cases against Nawaz Sharif were being filed throughout the country, adding that the former PM had turned into an Indian spokesperson after losing power. He said Nawaz had become security risk.

The PTI leader said the National Security Committee had unanimously rejected the stance of Nawaz. He said the PTI workers would stage a demonstration against Nawaz Sharif outside Lahore Press Club today (Wednesday).

Three applications have already been submitted in different police stations of Lahore for registration of cases against Nawaz Sharif.
