Exhibitions planned to promote tourism
KARACHI: Marsh Events launched International Tourism Enclave (ITE) and International Forum for Religious Tourism (IFR) on Tuesday at a ceremony attended by foreign diplomats, heads of provincial tourism departments and employees of airlines, hospitality industry and travel industry, a statement said.
The IFR and ITE 2018 scheduled to be held on September 5 and 6, 2018 at the Expo Center Karachi, will mainly focus on promoting inbound, outbound and domestic tourism in Pakistan, while over 250 exhibitors from across the world from aviation, hospitality, cargo and technology fraternities will be participating, it added.
Consul General of Japan in Karachi Toshikazu Isomura said that tourism is a flourishing industry in the world and could contribute significantly to the economy. “I hope such events would promote Pakistan’s tourism industry.”
