MWM rally condemns US-led wars against Muslim countries
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari led supporters of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) staged a rally in Karachi on Sunday against the United States and its foreign policy.
The protesters marched from Numaish Chowrangi to Tibet Centre on MA Jinnah Road on an appeal made by the MWM chief to express their opposition to the US administration and their allies which, they said, had imposed wars on many Muslim nations in the Middle East.
They also condemned US President Donald Trump’s decision to shift the US embassy from Tel Aviv to the occupied Jerusalem. The protesters were carrying flags, banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the Israel regime and the US administration. They were demanding an end to the wars against Muslim nations by the US and its allies in the Middle East.
Speaking at the rally, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari lambasted the US administration for violating international law and giving unqualified support for the Israeli crimes against humanity.
The US administration under the past presidents too had insulted Pakistani nation time and again, he said, adding that on behalf of the Pakistani nation he turned down the baseless charges against Pakistan by “the violator of international law and abettor of Israeli crimes against humanity”.
