1,698 sit in PMDC registration exam

Islamabad: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council held the National Examination Board examination Step-II on Sunday at Topi Rakh Complex and Army Medical College Rawalpindi for the registration of medical and dental graduates having foreign qualifications.
Under the law, the PMDC registration is mandatory for all those having medical and dental qualifications to practice in the country. A total of 1,698 Pakistani graduates from China, Afghanistan, Russia and Central Asia states and Cuba sat the examination for which the National University of Medical Science Rawalpindi collaborated with the PMDC. Strict security measures were in place for the exam, whose results will be uploaded on the PMDC and NUMS websites afterwards.
