Farhan seeded No 1 in Islamabad squash event
ISLAMABAD: Farhan Zaman has been seeded No 1 in the Pakistan Squash Circuit I Championship, which will start here at the Mushaf Ali Mir Complex from May 5-13.The tournament has prize money of $10,000 for men and $5,000 for women. All top ranking Pakistani players have entered into the tournament.The qualifying round of the men’s event will start on May 8, followed by the main round from May 10-13.Top 16 Pakistani players have been included for the main round of the women’s event. The semi-finals will be played on May 12 and 13 while final will be held on May 18.According to the men’s seeding, Farhan is followed by Asem Khan, Tayyab Aslam, Farhan Mehboob, Israr Ahmad and Khawaja Adil Mehmood.Noorena Shams has been seeded No 1 for the women’s category with Anam Mustafa Aziz being the second seed. Faiza Zafar and Madina Zafar are seeded second and third respectively.
