Gwadar off to winning start in Kabaddi League
LAHORE: Gwadar Bahadurs started off their Super Kabaddi League campaign with a very keenly-contested opening encounter here at Gymnasium Hall of Sports Board Punjab at Nishater Park on Wednesday.
Having faced tough resistance from Gujrat Warriors, Gwadar Bahadurs edged past the opponents 33-31. The opening day match saw the game fluctuating many a times but Ali Shan was the clear difference between the two teams.
Earlier during the opening ceremony Chairman Kabaddi League Haider Ali Daud Khan highlighted the main features of the mega event. There was also march past of participating teams followed by performances from several notable artists. The trophy of the Super Kabaddi League was also unveiled on the occasion. The league features top talent from Pakistan and abroad. The final will be played on May 10.
